I just wanted to let Dr. Mindel know that on my bike ride back home, my breathing was 100% better and easier on the long hill I rode on. When I went out on the bike again this afternoon I realized that I could breathe deeper than I have in about a couple of years or so. Bravo! Asthma runs in our family. I have it and want to do everything I can to prevent it from afflicting my son, Daniel. Recently, Daniel had two bouts of croup during which he experienced tremendous difficulty breathing. Our family M.D. was concerned that he might be beginning to get asthma. He said that if it happened again, he might want to put Daniel on a nebulizer. Having personal experience with the difficulties of taking steroids and bronchodilators and not wishing my 5 year old to experience some of the harsh side effects of these drugs, I sought another way of treating the breathing difficulty the next time it happened.

We went to Dr. Mindel, and within one day Daniel had markedly improved. Within one week he had no difficulty breathing at all, and none of the symptoms have returned since. The speed and ease of his recovery was astonishing and we are very grateful for Dr. Mindel.
